The Ultimate Easy Christmas Appetizer Recipe Roundup

Appetizers are the opening ceremony of Christmas. Christmas in my family is usually spent with people piling into one house, arms filled with copious amounts of wine, and stacking a bunch of casserole dishes on the counters. As everyone throws their coats into the always cold guest bedroom, we gather around the massive spread of appetizers, shoveling food into our mouths while catching up on all things from the last year. It sets the tone for the night to come.

Appetizers are the first point of gathering for most families during the holidays. They are usually enjoyed mindlessly while chatting, or as a way to get out of a conversation with that one awkward family member who can't take a hint.

  • Got a blender and an oven? That's all you need for these rich, handheld Spinach and Artichoke Puffs!

  • Make them as big or as small as you want! Even put them into muffin trays and make some poppers!

  • These are the perfect classic flavors that you know everyone will love!

  • Check them out here!

  • Take the classic flavors of a Caprese Salad and make them bite-size!

  • 4 ingredients- no cooking or weird kitchen gadgets

  • The cherry tomatoes burst in your mouth as you bite into them creating a flavor explosion!

  • Drizzle on some balsamic glaze to create the perfect bite.

  • Not a traditional Christmas dish, but I think Ceviche has its place on the appetizer table! Think of it as a more flavorful, Mexican inspired Shrimp Cocktail

  • This is so light and won't fill you up before the big (always dry) roast your aunt is cooking up!

  • This is one that my Mexico native husband asks for on a regular basis!

  • Great for the pescatarian, keto, paleo, Whole 30 family member!

  • The perfect make-ahead recipe with simple, real food ingredients!

  • Check it out here!

  • THE PERFECT BITE! This is a handheld Philadelphia sushi roll without the rice!

  • Layer cucumber, cream cheese, avocado, smoked salmon, and boom!

  • They are perfect before holiday festivities because they are not heavy, but will satisfy that urge to snack!

  • Serve with your favorite sushi dipping sauce!

  • Check them out here!

  • Easily one of my favorite recipes on here, these buffalo deviled eggs are a fun way to mix things up these holidays!

  • We love the classic deviled egg but adding a spicy kick with the tang from blue cheese cannot be beaten!

  • Much lighter than their buffalo wing counter part these are a slam dunk!

  • Check them out here!

  • This recipe takes legitimately 5 minutes to make and is such a surprising crowd-pleaser!

  • THREE INGREDIENTS. Enough said.

  • This dip was the gateway to my goat cheese obsession. Once I had this I couldn't get enough!
